Simon Petrie
Simon Petrie is a researcher in computational chemistry at an Australian university. He very seldom commits
poetry, but his SF-tinged stories have appeared (or are due to appear soon) in places such as Andromeda
Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Beyond Centauri, Borderlands, Kaleidotrope, the Masques anthology, Murky Depths,
Sybil's Garage and Yog's Notebook. He's a member of the Andromeda Spaceways publishing co-op and the
Canberra Speculative Fiction guild, and has served on the judging panel for the Aurealis Awards. His ultimate
ambition is to remember where he left the keys to the time machine.

Ancient Chinese Proverb #44
He who complains
Of being hit by the droppings of sparrows
Has never dwelt
In a land with dragons.
