Aunia Kahn
Aunia Kahn is an internationally known mixed media artist, graphic designer and musician born and
raised in Detroit, Michigan. A natural creator as a child, she nurtured and held onto her gift into
adulthood to become an accomplished 21st Century artist. Kahn's mixed media works make use of
her own likeness in movie-like stills of elegant decadence, varied taboo and often controversial
subject matter to challenge the viewer, their understanding and preconceived notions; yet she
connects through honest feeling and emotions present in today's society.
