Submission Guidelines for Romantic Poetry Anthology
We are currently open to submissions of romantic poetry for inclusion in an anthology to be released February 2012.

Guarantee: By submitting your work, you guarantee that it is your own original work, you hold the copyright, that it does not infringe on existing
copyright material, is not libelous and has not be previously published in any form. Publication in electronic form to personal blogs or journals is
acceptable, however, please let us know when you send us your work.
Royalties: Vagabondage Press LLC is a royalty paying digital and print publisher that offers 50% of our set cover price for digital release at our
website and 50% net for both digital and print through third party vendors. Net to include any commissions to resellers, listing fees, etc.. Rights
requested: exclusive world English rights for digital, print and audio for five years. For multi-author works, the percentage will be allocated prorated
by page count per contributor. Royalty payments will be issued semi-annually and a copy of the contract will be made available upon acceptance.
There are no fees for editing or publishing.
To Submit Work: Use the submission form (CLICK HERE) to send work. We do not accept emailed or snail mailed queries or manuscripts. On
the first page of your manuscript, add your cover letter including a pitch statement about your piece, the word count, the genre and some
information about yourself. Please list any prior publication credits, but don't be intimidated if you have none. We welcome unpublished authors.
Do Not: Send stories that include pedophilia, minors performing sexual acts, rape or incest, necrophilia, bestiality, or hardcore fetish material, as they
will not be considered for inclusion. Currently over-used plot devices, to include fairy-tale rewrites or self-insertion stories, will be met with skepticism.
Formatting Your Manuscript:
1) Name your manuscript with your name and title of the work.
2) Author name/pen name, address, phone number, email address, title and word count, and pitch statement must appear on the first page.
3) Word document (.doc) and Rich Text Files (.rtf) only - no pdf's, .wps or .docx files.
4) Times New Roman or Arial font, 11-12 pt.
5) All subsequent pages should have your name, title and page number in the header.
Please allow 60 after closing date for review. It is our policy to respond to all queries, so if you haven't heard from us in 60 days, please feel free to
inquire.
Please feel free to submit multiple stories up to five selections, but be aware that only one will be accepted. If submitting poetry, submit up to ten
poems on one document. We accept simultaneous submissions, but please withdrawal your piece by signing into the submissions manager and
removing it from the queue as soon as possible.
